St John’s Co-Cathedral
A visit to the Cathedral is a must while touring the capital city. Admire its splendour and masterpieces of high artistic value while exploring the history of the Order of St John in Malta. Witness the largest painting of Caravaggio and the only one signed by him during his brief stay in Malta. Experience the unique feeling of stepping into a jewel box and be transported in another dimension.

Museum of Archaeology
The building was originally the residence of the Knights of the langue of Provence. Today a museum in which are exhibited prehistoric artefacts, that belong to the Neolithic Period, spanning from the earliest appearance of human settlement on the island which goes back to circa 5200 BC, up to artefacts that were discovered in the Neolithic temples built between 4000 BC – 3000 BC. These temples are considered as the world’s oldest free-standing stone monuments and are recognised by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites.

Grandmaster’s Palace (Currently undergoing restoration and renovation)
Visit the largest palace in Valletta. Built to serve as the official residence of the Grandmasters from 16th to 18th century. Visit the State rooms where you can admire Gobelins tapestries, frescoes of the Great Siege of 1565, portraits of the Grandmasters and British royalty who ruled the island, amongst other notable works of art. The Palace Armoury is also worth a visit, consisting of a large collection of arms and armour dating back to the time of the Knights of St John between 1530 and 1798, as well as some of the original armour used by the Ottomans during the great siege of 1565. During the British period this palace served as the Governor’s residence. Today it is the seat of the office of the President of Malta.
